Not an actual default at the moment, just telling you there will be a default, so hold on for a few weeks. If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.0

If you take the action necessary then no, it won`t default.
If you just ignore the default notice, and allow the process to continue, then yes, it will default after the 14 days have expired.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Hi all
i am still a bit confused by this, they have not followed up with anything else do I just keep waiting?
also Lloyds have now sent me a letter saying my agreement has been cancelled and full payment is due? Does this mean now defaulted? There is a new reference number for the account but no payment details, it does say no need to do anything unless I can pay in full and they will contact me shortly. Is this when I can then start paying my monthly amount?0 -
Can you check the account on your credit record? Has the default been registered.
The creditor may manage in house (sometimes), more likely assign the debt or sell it on. They don't tend to make these decisions quickly. They pack up a few thousands and then assign or sell, so it depends how long it takes to package them. And how long the new company takes to get their act in gear.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -

Could just be coincidence, or perhaps NatWest are in the same banking group as one of your unsecured debts.
Either way, nothing to fret about, mortgage renewals do not require a credit check if you re-mortgage with the same lender, and as long as the mortgage payments are up to date.

Hi all, apologies another post.
i have my largest debt with Gc business finance which is a personal loan under the government start up scheme and I owe £23500. It does not appear on my credit report. Why is this, it makes keeping track difficult, am I still fully liable although there is no link on my report?

Not all lenders choose to report to the CRA`s, this has nothing to do with your liability for the debt, which remains 100%.

I have had the below email from barchers who are working for American Express. The account has not defaulted yet. Is this just normal collection activity?
A formal letter of claim has today been sent by post, as required by the Civil Procedure Rules.
We are Solicitors and this is the first step towards legal action being taken against you. This action could negatively affect your credit file.
