Hi All
Just in the process of getting this now sorted and wondering if I should send holding letters making them aware I will not be paying and maybe even asking them to default me as soon as possible so repayment can start?
Also there was a great website I previously looked at which was some sort of citizens advice and it had examples of letters and calculators that could be used. I cannot seem to find it and just wondered if anyone could recommend.
I am thinking I will self manage rather than use stepchange.0 -
Probably NE CAB, they are pretty good with templates.
It's probably best to go cold turkey. It'll speed up the process, largely computerised. And there's always the risk that if you put a person in the mix they decide to do the opposite to what you ask.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
Hi all just after a bit of advice please. I have had an email from American Express. It says ‘Notice of default served under section 87(1) of the Consumer Credit Act 1974’
but further down the email it says the f I bring my account up to date(£706) by 3rd of April no further action will be taken, is this a default or not?0
