Although that relates to Starling, Chase is a similar organisation and will have received the same letters from the FCA. Hopefully this helps you to understand that they are not doing anything untoward, and any anger about their demands should be directed to your MP, given Chase are simply following the regulator's rules, which are made using powers granted by Parliament.

You have the option of voting with your feet and moving your business elsewhere if you have no wish to comply.  As Chase have over 2 million customers in the UK. The loss of a few accounts for whatever reason in response to their request. Isn't going to bother them. As the overall outcome is both beneficial and positive from a commercial perspective.
