any free registry cleaners that fix free too

trying to find a registry cleaner to get shut of stuff but they are free downloads till it comes to fixing then you have to register.......aaarrghghghhg

any help please?

    the first one says - the unknown item is 'deskpan.dll' - am i safe to delete this? dont know what it is,,,,,,,,,,,

    still got the blooming toolbar at the bottom and the pop ups keep coming up from system manager saying - you need to download patch to sort this out but when i go to where they say it costs to download, hence, me thinks this is an advertisement - but, cant get shut of it - wonder if it connected to the toolbar at the bottom of the page?

    tried first two - got norton doing a full scan now, then will try last one..........

    it seems the trouble was with internet explorer so i have deleted it and put firefox back on - the toolbar at the bottom has gone - will let you know if the annoying pop ups gone too..........

    you could try majorgeeks.com they have some good free downloads, i used them a few times with no problems also download.com are doing free downloads, hope this helps

    ive sorted it now thanks - it was the internet explorer - since i uninstalled and reinstalled firefox i havent had any problems....thanks
