Yes you should talk to the insurance company - you've experienced an event which could lead to a claim.Since a few roofers have noticed an issue with your roof ridge, this will need to get fixed but there's no guarantee it will fix the problem. You'd need to talk to a roofer if you want them in your attic but your insurer would have access to specialist who can trace exactly where the leak is coming from.0

Once it dries out fully, then the stains are cleaned up as much as possible (say, sugar-soap), given a coat or two of 'stain blocker', and then any filling carried out before a coat or two of the finish colour.If your claim is successful, then I think this should be included?0
