Sofology Property Damage

Sofology damaged my property on delivery and refuse to take any responsibility or compensate because it's my word against theirs. There is damage on my door frame where there wasn't any before - I spotted it straight after they left. I am going to the ombudsman now.

I bought on an Amex credit card. Any chance I can also use the Section 75 protection to help with this?

Is there anything else I can do?

I put down a £500 deposit on the Amex and I'm paying it off over 2 years if that makes any difference.

Thanks

As you have said, it's their word against yours.

Which ombudsman do you think has any sort of responsibility?

If you have home insurance with legal protection then give them a call.

You card provider covers the goods, not accidental damage to your property so there is no redress available via that route.
