Searching for hotel room concerning the room size

Hello! My wife and I are heading to London this December, and we’re looking for a reasonably priced hotel with a spacious room. Budget is a bit tight, but comfort is important to us. I’ve been using Expedia and Booking, but while I can filter by cost, I can’t seem to easily sort rooms by size. Clicking through all the links to read descriptions is exhausting. Anyone know a quicker way to find the right room?

Wheelchair accessible is a filter on some site which would bring up larger rooms, or perhaps family rooms if that is an option.0

'reasonably priced' and 'spacious' I don't think go together in London
I stay sometimes for work, the hotel is nice but the room about the size of a cupboard2 -
‘Spacious’ is very subjective - as is London, budget and comfort
Premier Inn would tick those boxes for many but I’m not aware of any site that gives ‘room size’ as a filter.Maybe a bit more info on your expectations will allow more suggestions0 -

It's not a standard feature for agencies so only option really is to create a short list of potential places ignoring room size, rank them and go from top down the list checking the room size until you get to the first one thats acceptable to you. Many hotels only list the average size and so unless you are booking a not bottom of the rung room you could still end up in their box room.
Similarly, it's not all about space but also the use of space. PI Hub actually worked much better than you'd think (though wouldn't stay as a couple) and have had a junior suite before which was probably 6x the space but the room was really oddly shaped and about 1/3 was just a long thin corridor to nothing... it had a window but no furniture, purpose and just ended at a wall... felt like a design mistake so they stole some space from another room to ensure they could advertise juniors as "at least 60m2"0 -

If your budget is "a bit tight" then choose an alternative destination. London is a notoriously expensive city to visit, and London hotel rooms are notorious for being tiny.

I suspect another issue would be that not all hotel rooms in the same hotel are the same. I attend an event on a yearly basis, approx 60 rooms are let, and in the same price range they range from slightly bigger than a cupboard, to very spacious, and it’s luck of the draw which one you get.I also stayed in a Scottish hotel with a large group, my double room was huge, had room for the bed, sofa, 2 easy chairs a desk and 2 double wardrobes. Our friend requested a room on the ground floor and had a ti y room, a small wardrobe, a small table and a double bed, but they had a big wet room rather than a standard hotel bathroom like us.Both were the standard priced rooms and neither of us paid any upgrade.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. You could try Hilton Double tree, they have rooms that sleep 5-6. We have often stayed at Metropole not far from Paddington. Was always quite reasonably priced.Make £2023 in 2023 (#36) £3479.30/£2023

Travelodge and Premier Inn don't show up in booking websites, for PI check out their plus rooms which TEND to be larger0

Hi! I know what you mean, searching for a room by size can be a pain, especially if you have to open every listing to get the details. As strawb_shortcake already mentioned, Metropole is quite a decent place to stay. Also you might want to check outbedsizefinder.com.
It’s an Expedia partner, but unlike Expedia itself, it lets you filter rooms by size and bed type. Hope I helped.
