So what did you eat from your garden today?

Ooh - you're all making my mouth water. Didn't have anything yesterday, though there is lettuce ready.
however, I planted out six tomato plants, and nine modules of beetroot...so shouldn't be TOO long! And the garlic is turning yellow, so perhaps that will be ready soon.
I also have more lettuce and corn salad to go in the ground, parsnips to go out, more tomatoes, and rocket on the go...Oh, and I put three beans around a wigwam, too...so it shouldn't be too long before I'm joining you!0 -
I've been eating the weeds...have not completely lost it...young dandelion leaves, chickweed and purslane are all delish in with the usual lettuce, spinach and what have you. It beats weeding them out, anyway.0

While looking up chickweed I found goosegrass - never knew that's what it's called (I always think of it as bindweed 'cos it sticks to everything) and blow me the darn stuff is edible. And those hard round seeds can be roasted and used for coffee!
Now to get back to looking for chickweed and purslane

Lettuce again for me today.
Was very nice salad. Just means I have to be extra careful with washing as I seem to have a lot of red aphids but that might be because they are red salad leaves and so they are getting the colour from them.

Ate another ripe strawberry today - I really should have more patience and wait till they're all ripe and then make something really yummy!0

Pesky slugs been eating my runner beans grrr!0 -
Emptied out our bucket of spuds ... there were enough lovely little potatoes for a meal for 3 of us - boiled with a sprig of mint and smothered in butter. Loveeeeerly
Now have to wait for the next lot to grow or the ones in the garden to be ready. Next year will plant out more buckets.Enjoying an MSE OS life0
