Hi, Was wondering if anyone could help me please.

I work in a hotel and we`re currently in the off season, My hours have been reduced so where as I work 6 out of 7 in the summer, I`m now working say 3 days out of six. I`ve been told to take this entire week off because we`re quiet, As expected it should peak a little at Christmas. Anyway for the days i`m having off i`m having to use holiday and I know I haven`t got much holiday left seeing as i`ve been using it sporadically throughout the year. Our holiday is also usaully used for the week off we have at Christmas too. So I need to top it up a little, I can get another job but it has to be a job where the hours are suited around this one and it`s not easy to find one that does. So was just wondering if there would be any benefits I would be entitled too at all just to keep me afloat.

Alas I used to be a self employed seller so I know I can use that avenue, but I no longer have my selling account.

It`s a part time job, About 30 hours
2017 Wins - Coco Pops, £100 Amazon voucher, Elf T-shirt, £250 Zalando Voucher and £250 FeelUnique Voucher, private gig concerts
2018 Wins - Steep xbox game, 2 tangle teezer, Contagion Book, JC Annual, water sports bottle, 10p, 2 cricket tickets, can of fizz, 10p, Ribenia, Johnson baby products

What happens when you run out of holiday? will it be unpaid leave. How many hours are you contracted for?
re benefits - Impossible to answer without your full circumstances eg single or live with partner, any children, rented or owned property etc
You could use one of the benefits calculators such as entitledto with your details to see what it returns.

Surely the months when you have little to no income you will be entitled to some universal credit. Have you applied?

Entitlement to UC will depend on the OP's circumstances such as married/ living with partner/ any savings

OP could also be impacted by being a seasonal worker and the specific rules associated with that.
