Rules regarding final bill when leaving supplier
Options
We switched everything supplier 7 weeks ago and still haven’t received our final closing bill from BG. We pay on receipt of bill so we will owe them money, it’s not like they are trying to hold on to our money.
I’ve read on the CAB website that we should have received the bills within 6 weeks. If we don’t we are entitled to £30 compensation. Is this per fuel?
I was going to call (then email when I can’t get through) tomorrow and chase it up, assume it’s worth mentioning that they’ve not met the timeframe and we are due the compensation?
