Has anyone ever done this? its my cheapest quote for 5k miles a year and they say if you go over you don't get charged which leaves me baffled, Surely that's the catching point but here's what i got back
" There's no penalties or punishment, we confirm a per mile rate in pence at the start of your policy via a quote. This per mile rate dictates how much your miles cost at the start and how much it would be to top up if you run out. So you'll only ever pay the per mile rate agreed if you need more." 330 for the year is my qoute

Doesn't that mean that you'll pay £330 for the year if you use drive 5,000 miles or less but if you go over you'll pay more pro rata, i.e at 330/5000 (6.6p) per mile1

The no penalty/punishment is just that it will be 6.6p rather than saying well if you're actually doing 50,000 miles this year now we are going to increase it to 9.6p/mile1
