Hi everyone. getting my rooms painted after 10years. I would like a really light grey colour. most of the lights grey I have sampled have a blue or lilac tinge I just want straight light grey. What (grey)paint colour did u use and find it true to colour?

How a colour appears depends partly on factors like the light level and tone in the room, direction it faces....
The only way is to get some samples and paint them on the wall or to try one of the stick on paint swatches offered by Lick or Dulux

Not all greys are called grey. I've just painted the stairs/landing/hallway in Dulux White Mist - which is actually a very light grey. Definitely more a grey than a white. But keeps a darker area a little brighter where a regular mid-grey would be depressing.

Egyptian Cotton is a grey and true to colour.
Maybe best in areas that have some light. Works well in my bathroom that has a large window.

I've used Dulux polished pebble which is a very pale true grey with no blue or red undertones.2

I have Egyptian Cotton in small E facing utility room & SW facing Garden room. Neither look at all grey at any time of day or night.moneysavvy35 said:
