Worth £75?

I need a laptop on which to browse the web, do emails, and create and edit documents.  Not particularly bothered about speed.  I have the opportunity to buy an HP one for £75 which has the following spec.  I'm not up to speed with Windows machines, so - are there any obvious snags with that spec for what I want?  Does it matter that the OS and the office software aren't current?

Hp laptop with freshly installed win 10 and office 2021 pro fully working 13inch screen cd dvd rewrite i3 processor 240gb ssd 16gb ram

from that description the laptop will do what you need, but without detail no one can say for sure.

Windows 10 goes end of life in October 2025 and will not get security updates from then. Without knowing the model it is not known if you can upgrade it to Windows 11. So if worst case 12 months use for £75 works for you then that is fine.

You could also switch to Linux OS or see if you can install Google Chrome OS in a years time to keep it going.

Office 2021 is supported until October 2026 so not so much of an issue there.
