EasyJet/Aviation ADR no response

Good evening,

Could you please advise me with the following situation:
I complaint to EasyJet for a cancelled flight and my claim was rejected.
Then I registered my claim on the Aviation ADR portal in June 2024. The last update I received from them was on 1 July 2024 saying that the airline rejected my claim, and they would investigate and let me know in 14 days. Since then I raised two tickets and when they replied they said my claim would be escalated for further assistance and I get no other reply.
What should I do, please? I wrote about three emails this evening to Aviation ADR and to CAA but they came back as they were not monitored emails.
Please tell me what can I do because I don't want to leave this unresolved as EasyJet mocked us and sent us to the wrong hotel without food or water, in the airport the same no food or water and other bad experiences...
I would highly appreciate any advise, please.

What reason did Easyjet give for rejection and what do you believe the reason for the cancellation was?
If food etc was not supplied you can claim reimbursement with receipts via their website (separate to any compensation)
re compensation, you could look at the checkers of one of the companies such as Bott&co or EUClaim to see if they believe you have a claim and then look to small claims court or give it to them to deal with (for a cut)

    The AviationADR website states that:
We are committed to managing claims within a 90-day timeframe upon receipt of requisite documentation from both the passenger and the airline.
but when I went to them last year it was more like seven months.  Nothing to stop you continuing to chase, but it seems unlikely to make any difference, so realistically all you can do is wait, unless you have the appetite for small claims, if your case is strong enough.

I had a similar experience this summer - Easyjet rejected my EU261 claim so I escalated it to ADR to see how that would pan out.
Easyjet used the circumstances outwith their control card - ATC restrictions which proved correct.
They produced technical detail records in spades to support their position.
It took ADR quite a length of time to agree with their case.
Bottom line - you might be better advised to claim financial redress through EJ's compensation scheme for refund of flight tickets and baggage plus out of pocket expenses - they paid us in a reasonably short timeframe.
This is a separate process from EU261.

This is a separate process from EU261.
EU261 isn't just about compensation (article 7), it also encompasses ticket refunds (article 8) and out of pocket expenses (article 9), and the same applies to the UK261 equivalent - some airlines direct customers to different forms to process such claims, but they all fall under the same overarching regulations.
  • I should have indicated it's a separate procedural provision under EU/UK 261 ?
Whatever - Easyjet do advise that you can claim a refund of price tickets and luggage, or a voucher for an alternative flight.
Likewise reimbursement for reasonable out of pocket expenses, supported by receipts.
That would be the way forward IMO for the OP to seek financial redress if ADR find for Easyjet.
The other point is that it can take several weeks to get the final verdict.
