My complaint to Nationwide 

You advised me that you had changed to Aviva from UK Insurance and that the cost was going up from £13 per month to £18 P/m

I duly followed the links and registered with Aviva and was asked to complete the health questionnaire which I did

They charged me £506 which although was more than the previous year, I accepted

Over night I thought about the cover and realised that they had not asked about the length of stay

I called them and a lady asked the necessary questions to which I explained we go to Tenerife from the 3rd December to 26th February 2025 a period of 84 days for which she quoted £1,000. I asked if that included the £506 I had already paid and she said no this was just for the period extension. I explaied that the most I had paide with UKI was £480 all in

I rejected the offer

I have today (21st December) claimed a refund of the £506 already paid

 My complaint is that you have moved to a company who are grossly profiteering from your customers who like me will cancel their Flex Plus account which I have done today 

Being a 17-year member with Nationwide I have been quite happy until now, but this has disappointed me greatly

My Flex Plus account has been downgraded to Flex Direct while I consider my options which may be to look for an alternative Bank account
