I have a a CR123 battery kept failing in the sensors every year. I was being charged alot of money for all ours to fix a simple battery how much would I expect to pay locally I was being charged £60 to replace battery and £120 for a yearly service. Perhaps I’m happy to service it now and again but would any local companies do a better price?

I think I paid about £50 last time I needed some batteries changing. You can buy them and fit them yourself but they should last many years. I don't have a yearly service, I can't imagine what needs servicing on an alarm system.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0

Can be a insurance requirement in commercial systems, never heard of it for domestic though.EssexExile said:I can't imagine what needs servicing on an alarm system.0 -
Maybe something that insurance co's require. Or if the system is remotely monitored by the company.EssexExile said:I think I paid about £50 last time I needed some batteries changing.
