Electric "pole" hedge lopper/trimmer that isn't expensive / rubbish or both

Looking for actual feedback on electric or otherwise lightweight pole trimmers that can do a general hedge tidy on rough hawthorn/beech/bramble hedges

I need a decent amount of reach for height and slope.  So a pole type not a tool directly in your hand.

Battery one end. Pole. Cutter(s) the other.

I have seen a middling grade - consumer Stihl at Charlies.  Modular.  Tool. Battery. Charger.
Fairly expensive given how easily these heads lose teeth or get broken by slightly thick stems.

Any happy users out there with something recommendable

Better (longevity) is good.  Cheaper is interesting

As you mention losing teeth, or getting them broken by stems, I'm guessing you mean a long arm hedge trimmer, which is a different beast from the pole saw or lopper, which uses a short chainsaw head.
I had An Aldi model for about 7 years before bits fell off and the motor's brushes wore out. At £70 it was a good deal. Now I have a Lidl 'Parkside' model that's probably made in the same factory as the Aldi ones. It cost £60, and it's only done one full autumn so far. When I loaned it to someone recently, they lost an important screw, but I was able to use one from the broken machine.
I've no complaints about these cheapies, except for the ridiculous 3 pin plug now supplied, probably due to some EU edict. That came off straight away, to be replaced with a standard 2 pin rubber connector! As for broken teeth, none at all, and enough power too. I'm not aware of any battery models yet from these outlets, except pole saws, but with a 50' extension lead and a short one to the machine, I can reach most places.
My experience with battery trimmers is limited to a 50cm Bosch. It's surprisingly good on branches that fit, but obviously not a match for a mains machine with wider teeth.
    Not buying into it.
