Amazon Barclaycard Statement Date

So, for October, I'd have expected my statement period to have ended yesterday-ish for a payment due date of 14 November. But if I look at my account, either in the app or via Barclays Online Banking, I don't see any indication of the ending of a statement period. Indeed, I can see an unbroken string of transactions going back past my last statement, to the day I first used the card. I'd find it helpful to know for sure whether or not a transaction made tomorrow will be due for settlement in November or December. Of course, I can always use a different card and be certain, but that'd lose me the 1% cashback.

this also happens to me I think they allow an extra month or seem to so whenever you think your statement data is due at a month onto that I am the same as you I have a string that transactions going back to goodness knows when because I changed the payment date1

If it is the same as the other Barclaycards, then the statement date is a fixed working day in the month. I'm right at the beginning of the month, so have very little variation. As the month goes on the variation grows.
So for example - if your card is produced on the 5th working day of the month, it would be November the 7th, then December the 6th.
It's possible for transactions made on the day of your statement to appear on it, as it may not be produced until 2 days or so after the statement date.
That's assuming the processes for this new card replicate those that they use elsewhere.1 -
I gave up in the end, and used the chat facility in the app. I got lucky, and landed a helpful person on the other end. She* told me that I was right: the statement was made up on Saturday , so transactions from Sunday onwards will be on my November statement. This means that my counting of 14 November minus 25 days was spot on. As you say, they do create a very long statement period if you change the date. Mine's from 6 September to 19 October, during which time I spent a whole year's clothing budget. I'll have a huge DD payment taken on 14 November!Oh, and they're not quick to generate the actual statement. They don't produce them at the weekend, and then they take up to 48 hours to appear. I was told not to expect mine to be available until tomorrow. In the event, I suppose I was lucky: it's there today.*I assume. "Nikki" looks feminine to me. I could be wrong, of course, in which case I'll be happy to apologise.0

Barclays statements do tend to take a few days to appear, I used to get an email about it and it'd be online but not in the app until a day or two later. For the first time since I had the card, Lloyds did my statement on the 19th (Saturday) rather than the first working day after which was a bit different

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

I deleted it immediately, so I'm relying on my rather vague memory of its arrival time.I downloaded the statement via my web browser (much more convenient than via the app). I don't know when it appeared in the app, but it's there now (10:30), so certainly better than "a day or two later".0
