I wouldn’t be surprised to see the ISA allowance reduced to £6,000 or £12,000, as that’s still the means to save £500 or £1,000 tax free per month. It always used to be that the allowance was rounded to be divisible by 12, but that went out of the window when it became £20,000.1

The big one that's not been "trialled by leak" yet is council tax. Which would IMO be the worst of all and will become a wealth tax in all but name.
As has been pointed out elsewhere, Freeholder or not nobody truly owns their house in the UK. We're all tenants and the council is the landlord.
I'm certain that before the end of this Government Council tax will be massively higher than it already is.1 -
One would hope that, as removing the WFP while sticking rigidly to 1p over the Pension Credit limit being an indicator of someone able to manage without that money has gone down not unlike a bucket of cold sick, they will not remove the 25% single person discount. That would also disproportionately impact pensioners, as they’re more likely to be single following the loss of a partner and to remain so going forward.hallmark said:The big one that's not been "trialled by leak" yet is council tax.
