ACROSS DAYTIME PRIZE DRAW: TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY (“Prize Draw”)

 

Who can enter:

The Prize Draw is open to entrants who are: (a) resident in the UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man during the competition period and prize fulfilment period; (b) aged 18 years or over; and (c) not employees of the Promoter, companies within the ITV group of companies, STV Group PLC or are an immediate family member of the same (including any live-in partner); and (d) not in any way or professionally connected with the Prize Draw.

Please note that entrants must have a UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man phone number and address in order to be eligible to win the Prize Draw.

Opening/closing date & time:

 

• Prize Draw in relation to the programmes Good Morning Britain, Lorraine, This Morning, Loose Women and John and Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen (the “Programme”) opens for entries via PRTS, SMS, the This Morning app (the “App”), post and online: i) via the QR code showing during the on screen promotion (to be redirected to www.itv.com/win) in relation to Good Morning Britain only (“QR Code”)  or (ii)  the www.itv.com/win or www.stv.tv/win websites (“Website”) on Friday 18 October 2024. 
• Prize Draw closes for entries via PRTS, SMS, the App and online at 4.00pm on Friday 1 November 2024. 
• Prize Draw closes for entries via post at 4.00pm on Thursday 7 November 2024. 
   

Winner selection & contact:

 

• The draw will take place within one (1) week of the closing date and time for all entries. 
• Subject to eligibility and compliance with all applicable terms and conditions, the first entry drawn at random from all eligible entries will win the prize.

 

How to enter & cost of entry:

Entrants who enter twice from the same phone number will receive a third entry into the Prize Draw without charge (based on the same details as submitted in the second call). For each subsequent call from the same phone number, the entrant will receive an additional entry without charge (based on the same details as submitted in their call). This therefore works as a “3 entries for the price of 2 entries” offer followed by “buy one entry get one entry free” offers. Each call costs £2.00 plus your network access charge.

 

• SMS text – send an SMS text with the keyword WIN, WINNER, APP to 82248; up to fifteen (15) paid entries per phone number. Entrants who send a second SMS text entry using the same mobile number by the closing date and time will receive a third entry into the Prize Draw without charge (based on the same details as submitted in their previous paid entry). For each subsequent entry from the same mobile number, the entrant will receive an additional entry without charge (based on the same details as submitted in their previous paid entry). This therefore works as a “3 entries for the price of 2 entries” offer followed by “buy one entry get one entry free” offers. Each chargeable SMS text entry costs £2.00 plus one standard network rate message.  Please note that SMS entries without the keyword or where the keyword is misspelt will still be counted and charged (where applicable). • Online/App - go to the Website, scan the QR Code or download the App to enter via the following routes (as available on the Website): 
  o    Direct to Mobile Billing: follow the instructions on the Website to charge the entry costs to your mobile phone bill. Direct to Mobile Billing may only be available for certain mobile networks – for details see the Website.

  o    Apple Pay: follow the instructions on the Website.
  o    Debit Card: follow the instructions on the Website to charge the entry costs to your debit card. Please note that use of a debit card may incur charges from your provider.
  o    Open Banking: follow the instructions on the Website to deduct your entry costs directly from your chosen bank account.

 

A single entry costs £2.00. Paid and free entry bundles may be offered from time to time, and other offers and discounts (e.g entry credits) may be applied or available, as stated on the Website.

 

Please note if you are using a credit card with Apple Pay or PayPal, your card provider may impose surcharges. 

By entering online, you will also receive one (1) ticket to participate in the “Winsday” Prize Draw for every one (1) paid entry.

Each Winsday Prize Draw opens at 1.00am each Wednesday and closes at 12:59am the following Wednesday. The ticket generated from entering this Prize Draw will be automatically entered into Winsday draw that is live at the time of your entry. There is a cap of thirty (30) paid entries across all online platforms (“Cap”).

Where you opt to enter through one of the promoted paid entry routes, ITV must have received evidence of payment of any costs (as notified to ITV by the applicable payment provider) relating to the entry (as set out in the on screen promotion and these terms and conditions) by the time that ITV conducts the winner selection in accordance with the Winner Selection & Contact section above. Any entry that does not meet this criterion will be incomplete, invalid and ineligible to win the prize.

Prize:

 

There is one (1) prize of £30,000 and TUI gift card(s) worth a total of £15,000.

 

(i) £30,000 cash

 

This element of the prize consists of £30,000 (thirty thousand pounds) made payable by BACS in the name of the entrant only.

Please note that the Promoter will transfer the prize to the winner.

 

(ii) TUI gift cards

 

This element of the prize consists of three (3) TUI gift cards each worth £5,000 (five thousand pounds) (the “Giftcards).  

 

Please note that TUI will send the Giftcards without funds via post to the winner with a cover letter setting out how to contact TUI to have the Giftcards loaded with the funds and activated.

 

The winner can redeem the Giftcards online at tui.co.uk or firstchoice.co.uk, or in any TUI or superstore, excluding Southern Ireland as full or part payment, as set out in the TUI’s terms and conditions which can be found at  https://www.tui.co.uk/destinations/info/tui-gift-cards. The Giftcard(s) can be used to book a single or multiple holiday(s), up to £15,000 in total and within the validity period. Any travel products purchased using either a Giftcard or cash are subject to availability at the time of booking and scheduling. Please note that before making a new booking online, the winner must ensure that their Giftcard(s) have sufficient funds to cover the initial payment due when making the booking. In the event that there are not enough funds on the Giftcard(s) to pay for the booking, the winner must go into a TUI store to book their chosen holiday with the remaining of the funds on the Giftcard(s) and cash. Once the initial booking has been made, the winner may use the remainder of the Giftcard(s) (if applicable) to make further payments. Please note that in the event that the winner’s initial payment due is larger than £2,000, the winner will need to make the booking at a TUI local shop.

 

The Giftcard(s) expire on 31 December 2027. The Giftcard(s) will be valid for two (2) years from the date of winner contact. The Giftcard(s) are non-transferable and the value of any monetary balance of the Giftcard(s) may not be exchanged for cash equivalent or alternative, or to buy other gift cards from TUI. The Giftcard(s) cannot be used as payment, or exchanged for, travel money-related products, including currency, travellers’ cheques and prepaid cards. The Giftcard(s) must be treated as cash, and the balance cannot be refunded if it is lost, stolen or destroyed. The winner may not book excursions online however will be able to do so by visiting their local TUI store. The Giftcard cannot be redeemed over the phone and cannot be used in Republic of Ireland or online at crystalski.co.uk. Giftcards cannot be used online for TUI Ski, TUI Lakes, TUI Worldwide or First Choice Ski, and cannot be used at 3rd party agents.

 

Please note that when redeeming their Giftcard(s), the winner must be the lead traveller on their chosen holiday. Where any of the winner’s companions are aged under 18 years old, the companion must have prior parental or guardian permission to accompany the winner when taking up the holiday. The winner and their companion(s) must hold any relevant travel documentation required for travel (including but not limited to a current and valid passport). It is the responsibility of the winner to ensure that they and/or their companion(s) adhere to the visa entry requirements of the relevant country. It is the responsibility of the winner to adhere to the local laws in the relevant country. It is the responsibility of the winner to (i) organise visas for the travelling party if necessary and (ii) ensure that the travelling party has valid travel insurance, including without limitation covering overseas medical costs; (iii) to inform TUI of any requirements due to disabilities for example wheelchair access or any persons with reduced mobility travelling with the winner and/or their companion(s) when taking up the Prize; and (iv) to adhere to any applicable health and safety guidelines.

 

The prize excludes ground transport to and from departure airports, meals and drinks (other than where specified in the booking), excursions, attraction, treatments, car hire, travel insurance, personal expenses, and visas and vaccinations.

 

Use of the Giftcard is subject to the TUI’s booking terms and conditions for package holidays, which are available at  https://www.tui.co.uk/destinations/info/website-terms-and-conditions and the Giftcard terms and conditions which are available at https://www.tui.co.uk/destinations/info/tui-gift-cards.
Please note that the Giftcard(s) are not covered by ABTA’s scheme of financial protection.

 

The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to positively amend the prize during the Prize Draw Period by either: (i) increasing the amount of a cash prize; and/or (ii) offering additional prize(s).
