Hi we found some small cracks through brickwork on the outside of our home. I wasn’t sure if this was a minor issue or something more serious so contacted our insurance company. This was back in August they have been out several times to do various investigations and it is still ongoing. I was told by one person this could take as long as 18 months to sort as they need to monitor the situation. We didn’t have a problem with this until we were advised by our insurance broker they wouldn’t be redwing our insurance cover in October when due as they are coming out of the home insurance market.  Our broker has tried 14 insurance companies as we have a claim ongoing no one will insure us we have a real dilemma . Would appreciate any guidance we don’t feel we have done anything wrong but are getting penalised.

If this is related to Morethan /RSA   a poster within the last few days raised an immediate Complaint on the phone to Morethan and they set up a new Policy renewal for him.

PS If it is Morethan/RSA.... here is the recent Poster.  Discussion at the end is about when he could not get a policy in place.
