Park Charge Lewisham Retail Park. UKPC

Today 18/10/24 I recieved a Parking Charge Letter from UKPC.
The letter goes like this.
Re: Parking Charge
The vehicle was recorded on our client's private property at Lewisham Retail Park,SE13 7SN
from 12/10/24 00.07 to 12/10/24 00.12. The vehicle was present on site during restricted no parking period.
My question is .. The car park has gates if it has a restricted period why not lock th gates,
also why can't they put the restriction period on board on entering the car park where it says 2 hours free parking.( my Photos attached)..
I was making a grocery delivery across the road to Student accommodation, most of the road is red route and where yo could park was taking up.I have parked in the retail car park several times previous before getting this parking charge, i was there 5 minutes and the photos on the parking charge are me entering and leaving the car parking in the dark just showing my lights and number plate only no other photos. Can I challenge the parking charge. Many thanks.
The photos are taking by me during day light hours, these gates are open 24/7

Don't use that car park again. You'll have to find a side road with no red lines for future deliveries.
Do NOT say why you were there.
Appeal saying there was no contract, the signs were unlit but the only readable one appeared to offer 2 hours free with no caveat. In any case, the driver decided to leave as they only drove in by mistake while looking for another location. The vehicle was only captured for 5 minutes, thus UKPC has not offered a fair consideration period to allow a driver to read unlit signs in the dark, which takes minutes longer than it would in daylight.
Then repeat the same at POPLA but add photos of the smaller signs in the dark (not that big one, and not close up photos). Ideally, if someone can drop you to take pics WITHOUT driving in! Do not drive in for more than 2 or 3 mins. Or cycle in.
But make sure it is pitch black, not dusk. Your pics must be dark.
Evidence is key, to win at POPLA. But the 5 minutes point should win it. Also add the usual 'no landowner authority' point that is linked in the 3rd post of the NEWBIES FAQS thread.
Which I will not link. See my signature.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
