Employee discount scheme for retirees

I am currently employed and benefit from the company discount scheme. The discounts aren't huge - but every little helps! The range of retailers is very big and includes all the brands you are likely to use. The scheme is accessible through an app - so very easy to use. I'm about to retire and will lose access to the scheme. Has anybody come across a scheme that gives similar perks for people who are not employed? I know I can find discounts in the MSE website and app, but that's not the same. Employee discounts tend to be available week in week out and dont expire. Thanks.

I can still access one from a previous employer years later, all I did was change the register email address to a private one rather than a work one.2

How much are you saving monthly? Is it every month you're saving?
I have used prior discounts after leaving a company (not for retirement) but eventually it gets cut off. When about to make a big purchase I've also registered as a small business with the likes of Reward Gateway to get a 14 day free trial and then cancel after making a purchase... they charge £6-£8 per month per user so if used regularly it could be worth paying the subscription post large purchase1 -
One advantage of retirement is that you don’t have the considerable costs of going to work.1

I’m going to miss my NHS Blue Light Card. I’m retiring but not drawing my NHS pension and I won’t be able to renew until I do. I’m planning to use offers before it expires and also pre-load a shopping card or two.SMP1 said:I am currently employed and benefit from the company discount scheme. It's occasional, because I have not been putting any effort into it. But now I am going to have to pay more attention !DullGreyGuy said:

You can get a Costco card as you are NHS. It's not free, there might not be one near you and you do have to be prepared to buy 1000 loo rolls at once.Sarahspangles said:

I did have a Costco card via a previous job but couldn’t make bulk buying work. Handy for tyres when I drove more.SMP1 said:
