Hypothetical charger disaster

We have several chargers plugged in next to each other, and the leads inevitably get tangled up. Given that usb-c charger cables have the same plug at each end, there’s scope to make the mistake of plugging a cable into two different chargers by mistake.
Ahem, what will happen? A big flash bang, or the system will cope?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

You'd have to be quite daft to do that but if you did nothing would happen. When charging over USBC the two devices negotiate a safe charging current and voltage. So they'd just turn off the outputs.2

Thanks. That’s good to know, as I’m sure someone in our house will make that mistake eventually!PHK said:You'd have to be quite daft to do that but if you did nothing would happen.
