Sending devices with rechargeable batteries internationally

I'm thinking of buying a basic/children's-type camera for a young relative in Switzerland. It would be a brand new product still in original packaging. Does anyone know whether there is any prohibition in place regarding this?

Is the battery built in or removable?
What size is the battery?
Most couriers are perfectly fine with batteries built into or with devices like laptops or cameras etc, its only when you get to the big ones in e-bikes or sending lots of them separate from a device etc is when the problems start.
Royal Mail basically say no more than the number to run the device plus 2 spares,, the battery themselves have to be under 5kg and under 100kWh capacity each. The ones for my semi-professional camera are 15kWh.0 -
Any option of doing all this through a Swiss version of Amazon? This is a small, hand held camera with a battery which charges through a standard charging cable. Just like your average smartphone.0

In this kind of situation I would buy from the local Amazon and let them take care of things that can't be shipped. So I googled Amazon Switzerland and this page was returned:It looks like Amazon Germany ships things to Switzerland. Also on this page are listed the things they won't ship. Electronic goods and rechargeable batteries are not listed, though e-cigarettes are listed. So you could use Amazon UK or Amazon Germany and see if the order gets through?1

You'll laugh, but possibly an informed contribution by somebody with actual experience of the situation outlined? A bizarre concept, I realise, but I'm told that stranger things have happened.
You know: rather than oh-so-helpful suggestions to research the situation myself which, you'll never guess, I'd already done... in vain...
