Have any of you had any experience in these companies who state to sell your house quickly? We are desperate to sell our property to move nearer our family but we are very wary of their offers.
The main thing that holds the sale process up is not being realistic about pricing your house - you WILL be told your house is worth more by some estate agents, because they know this sways some vendors to go with them.

If you’re prepared to accept a bit less for a quick sale then in my view the best way to achieve that is to communicate clearly with a local estate agent that that is what you want. They can then advise you on a price that will attract buyers and filter out buyers who may not be able to proceed

The alternative to lowering your price is to move out and rent so you can offer vacant possession and wait for the right price. Obviously you’re paying rent in the meantime but sometimes it enables the chain to get moving. It might mean you’re resident where you need to be.

    Good advice.
