Car Insurance ....Date purchased.

Wonder if any one can help.

On the Price Comparisom Site it only gives me the option to enter the Month for the date of purchase.


When it goes to the actual policy it defaults to 01/10/2024.......I actually purchase the vehicle on 16/10/2024....is this a huge issue please ??

When you go to the actual sellers website you should update it to the accurate date. 

Most insurers wouldn't be overly concerned but there are some at the bottom of the pile that will ask for your V5c and driving licence etc after you purchase to ensure you gave accurate answers and will adjust the premium notably if you weren't 100% accurate.

Apologies it is the date that the car was purchased that they were after ??
