Airline has changed aircraft - what can I do?

    I know it's a long shot, but if you were travelling in Business Class with Q Suites and the plane changed to a non Q Suite plane, then Qatar will offer a free change as a courtesy back to a Q Suite flight.
    However, you don't mention when you're flying and Qatar could well make further changes as they are prone to do, so if you have no other options maybe just hold on and hope for another significant change.  If one happens don't accept it but ask for a full refund.
    Finally, even on their lowest (I think) fare group - Economy Classic - they offer one free change to the date or destination as long as the currently booked fare bucket exists on the new date/route.   Amex Travel have a good reputation and you'll have to deal with them, but they should be able to talk you through the options as long as what they sold you wasn't anything special only available to agents outside the normal options when booking direct.


    ETA:  Accepting the previous change may knock that last option on the head, but speak to Amex anyway.
