Used to spend a lot on:
Books - now from library or charity shops
dvds/cds - now soulseek or borrow
takeaways - not done this for months!
recreational drugs - v expensive habit lol, and unethical really (wouldn't say no to the odd saucy evening with a disco biscuit but no more amy winehouse stylee benders for moi!)
Clothes - only buy in sales or from charity shops.

Am hankering after perfume at the moment though. I want to be a lady!

Have stopped doing a monthly shop, as I would end up throwing a lot of food away, now only shop for the next 3 days at the most.
  • In the past year I have

Stopped using shop carrier bags, now take my own bags
(Almost) stopped buying books and get them from the library instead
Stopped buying clothes, I have enough!
Stopped getting hair coloured, just get it cut by a trainee instead.
Stopped daily take away coffee habit
Stopped organic box delivery, just buy a sack of potatoes from farm shop and day to day veg as needed
Stopped buying CDs and DVDs, borrow instead.
Stop going to the shops without a list.
Stopped paid work (which is why I need to do all the above:rotfl:)
