Lloyds credit limits

What kind of credit limit can you expect from Lloyds interest free credit card?
I'm asking as there seems to be large variability in the interest free credit limits offered, e.g. my Barclaycard is £4k and Virgin is £12.5k.
I'm getting another credit card for stoozing and I'm preapproved for both Lloyds and MBNA. I've already got one MBNA credit card, it's got a £12k limit so I'm guessing a second one will be a lot less?
Thanks for the help.

Limit is entirely down to your credit file, there is no expected limit as nobody has the same filethegentleway said:What kind of credit limit can you expect from Lloyds interest free credit card?

Thanks for the help.Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Credit limits are very personal and depends on how much you match their preferences. For me MBNA gave a limit 6x that of Lloyds (which I had first) but my wife's MBNA limit was double that of Lloydsthegentleway said:What kind of credit limit can you expect from Lloyds interest free credit card?

It varies hugely based on circumstances, you are unlikely to get a meaningful answer to that question.thegentleway said:What kind of credit limit can you expect from Lloyds interest free credit card?
It varies hugely across card provider and even on a week by week basis, it will vary even more once personal applications are taken into account. The whole range is likely from a few hundred to many tens of thousands. Someone would not know what they were actually going to get until approved.thegentleway said:I'm asking as there seems to be large variability in the interest free credit limits offered, e.g. my Barclaycard is £4k and Virgin is £12.5k.
Very likely yes, maybe a few thousand at most. However MBNA regularly send me offers for my existing card, have you checked in the MBNA app or emails if you have any of those available? The only thing is they will not usually send you those if you are carrying a balance.thegentleway said:I'm getting another credit card for stoozing and I'm preapproved for both Lloyds and MBNA.
