I thought I would flag this issue and try and keep concise.

There are 3 x 7 apartment blocks on this private development.

When we purchased the freehold I informed the supplier of change of ownership.They ,unknown to me changed the bill payer to our company and sent bills to a non existent address for 16 months,
Previously our block was under the Developers Account and for various reasons have agreed to cover the £2600+ bill.
Despite multiple emails-complaints phone calls to EON they simply fail to progress this issue.Which involves simply changing the billing address to the developer who also wants to pay this invoice due to handing over our building to the management company.

I also checked one of the other blocks and found they had their supply changed in 2022 (probably by Managing agents Broker) and their consumption doubled due to only estimated readings being taken for over 2 years.They had their meter changed in Feb. this year and are still getting estimated readings on their old meter.

The rate now is on a "deemed tariff" or £2.05 a day standing charge and around 37p a unit.
Leaseholders Ignore your Landlords Meter at your service charge peril as ultimately you will end up paying the bill.
