What would you suggest reasonable compensation?
Options
Octopus have been out 3 times now about my not working smart meter
the first engineer I waited in for, said it can't be fixed, I need a dual band, call CS and ask for one, so I did
second engineer I waited in for, came with no instructions from Octopus, didn't have a new meter, tried yet again to fix the current one, told me I need a new one, made the appointment while he was here
third engineer came on Monday, I waited in for him, he had no instructions and didn't have a dual band meter on the van so couldn't do anything. I called Octopus CS and had a right rant at them over their incompetence
I've had an apologetic email this morning offering yet ANOTHER appointment to fit a dual band and a mention of compensation for my time wasted
What would you think would be reasonable to accept as compensation? I haven't a clue. It's hasn't cost me anything financially, just the annoyance of a morning wasted and having to keep taking manual readings. But I am tampin' mad and so that's a stress!

I'd treat each of those subsequent non-productive visits as missed appointments (they may as well have not turned up!); so £60. (£30 x 2).
"There are certain rules which energy suppliers must follow. If they don’t follow these rules, then they need to pay compensation. For example, if your supplier misses an appointment with you, they should offer £30 compensation."0 -
