Hi - basic question, can I buy the iPhone 15 I want and sort out getting SIM contract later as I don’t see options to do it together? Thinking to buy from John Lewis then sort out a SIM only contract

The short answer is Yes.
If you already have a sim contract running then you can simply put that sim card into your new phone and use it straight away while sorting out a new contract.0 -
Yes. Do it whatever way suits you.Things that are differerent: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid0

Thanks, was expecting option to buy phone outright and an option to get sim too. Phone ordered should come tomorrow. I have always just used my work phone but they’re deleting WhatsApp from them next week for security reasons, anyway not used to buying a phone!0

No phones are locked to anyone anymore so you can buy from anywhere, which is good.
You don't need a contract sim, just look around for rolling monthly sims from the likes of GiffGaff or Smarty etc. Order online and have it within a couple of days. Or look around the check outs at supermarkets they usually have various sims knocking around.Drinking Rum before 10am makes you
