5 Day rail card New York

Options
Looking for the best railcard. 3 Adults one over 65 for 5 days

Looked on NY MTA seems quite a few different types of tickets

Looking at the map fastest & cheapest to where we will be staying (Forest Hill) will be train from JFK. so use that

We will then be going into central NY & using subway etc Central Park to Battery Park

Thanks

Easiest option is just to use a contactless card per traveller, especially if you have one with 0% commission. You'll get a capped fare after 12 trips. This applies to the metro and busses, but not the Air train at JFK

We didn't bother with railcard from JFK to Manhattan/Times Square. Cost was £6.50 for the AirTrain (3 stops) and £2.20 for the MTA for about 15 stops using contactless
