When applying for credit, what option shoild I tick? Homeower - with mortgage OR renting?
I live with my husband, he has a mortgage (in his name only) for the property we live in. I am not named on the mortgage at all, but we are married. I do, however, pay a set amount into our joint account each month which is used for the mortgage, bills, etc. Therefore, do I select mortgage or renting when applying for credit?
Thank you in advance :-)

Am I a Homeowner?
Whose name or names are on the deeds of the property?
His name only or both your names or something else?A man walked into a car showroom.
He said to the salesman, “My wife would like to talk to you about the Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
Salesman said, “We haven't got a Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
The man replied, “You have now mate".0 -
You're not renting therefore you are a homeowner. There is a mortgage even though you don't pay for it directly.
You would have a portion of the home if you split so again - homeowner.
