thank you so much, I completed the defence and emailed it to the court yesterday by reading the older case and I called the court today to make sure my defence has been delivered, The court noticed that the case had been discontinued today, I believe you guys are so kind to advising people like me in a very hard financial situation to avoid the unfair penalties

Glad it was discontinued but did you really send your defence or was it, as @KeithP wrote, your witness statement and evidence? It was probably receipt of your WS that caused them to discontinue.

It took me 3/5 hours to read and research. I copied and pasted information from different posts and defense letters from other cases. I added some photos of the location and signs and emailed them to the court last night.

I called to confirm if my defense had been delivered and was informed that the case had been discontinued. You might be right, but I still don't have the official discontinuation letter from the DCB. I only have the phone notification. I will definitely upload the letter as soon as I receive it.

Send an email to DCB Legal to ask for a copy of the Notice of Discontinuance and tell them if they refuse to serve it, you will seek costs for unreasonableness.

Then please show the NoD here as we'd love to count your win.
