Haven't heard anything back yet from Gladstones. Should I email them to ask if they received it?0

Nope. Leave them to their own devices, if they’re going to issue a claim you’ll hear soon enough. Don’t poke a sleeping dog.andromeda24 said:Haven't heard anything back yet from Gladstones. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Weirdly, they emailed me not long after I posted that:
'Dear XXXXXX,
Further to your email dated XX January 2026.
Please see attached evidence pack along with the signage for the relevant land we trust the contents to be self-explanatory.
However, we note your assertion that you will "vigorously" defend any court proceedings. In light of this, we have today arranged for legal proceedings to be issued to recover the debt in full. Upon receipt of the claim form, we recommend that you follow the instructions provided within it carefully. At this stage, if you are uncertain about any aspect of the process, we strongly advise that you seek independent legal advice. Kind Regards,'0 -

I'd email them back and use the 30 day hold.
I am in receipt of your response.
I am seeking debt advice, but I deny any debt and therefore the case must be put 'on hold' for not less than 30 days under the PAP for debt claims (2017).That will expose their lies. Why send "evidence" if they have already made a court claim? If they can put in a 30 day stop then they can't have made a court claim.1
