My husband had a stroke last year which affected his right side,he has limited use of his leg and no movement in his arm.He isn't working and claims esa sick pay of £181 a fortnight. He gets £791 approx a month in pip, I work for an agency getting 4 or 5 days a week approx £330 a week.We have about £23,000 in savings.I'd just like to know if my husband is getting everything he's entitled to,he's worked all his life till this happened.
We are managing financially even with a mortgage to pay ( we didn't bother with critical illness insurance, just life cover 😔)
Thank you for any advice

Has he had a decision on his work capability assessment yet? Once the decision is made if placed into the Support Group his ESA will increase to £138.20/week from the 14th week of his claim.diane39 said:My husband had a stroke last year which affected his right side,he has limited use of his leg and no movement in his arm.He isn't working and claims esa sick pay of £181 a fortnight. He gets £791 approx a month in pip, I work for an agency getting 4 or 5 days a week approx £330 a week.We have about £23,000 in savings.I'd just like to know if my husband is getting everything he's entitled to,he's worked all his life till this happened.
