Dishwasher waste leaking - I’m losing the plot!

Bit of a dramatic post but having spent the last 3 days laying flooring, I just need a break 😂 I have a dishwasher waste pipe to which I’ve connected an additional 2.5m length so it reaches the main waste pipe. I’ve connected them together using a connector and 2 jubilee clips. Tightened up yet still leaks everywhere.
Any advice gratefully appreciated!

The joiner doesn't look big enough on the exposed end. Id expect it to look like a short bit of straight pipe without the steps with just one ridge in the middle.1

Do I need to remove the rubber and to the hose and just push the hose on? ThanksLorian said:The joiner doesn't look big enough on the exposed end. Id expect it to look like a short bit of straight pipe without the steps with just one ridge in the middle.2006 LBM £28,000+ in debt.

I'd have said this is what you need (and I've used in the past) - but it looks like the one you have...!?

Where's it leaking from and how much is leaking? You may have overdone the jubilee clip and deformed the coupler a bit. Try just pushing the hose on without the jubilee clip and see if it leaks then.
As I understand it, you're using a 2.5m length of flexi hose to reach the waste pipe - is that right? A better solution would be to extend the waste to get it nearer to your dishwasher and put a spigot on the end to connect to.1 -
I bought an extension hose kit from SF for sil's W/M - a Samsung, I think - and it was a loose fit. Ended up Stixalling and two pipes clips to make it watertight

Stixall is a tough adhesive that sets to a rubbery material. Comes in a cartridge that needs a skeleton gun. Not really worth buying a tube for just this, tho'.Is the hose an obviously loose fit on the spigot end? If so, I think I'd get a roll of amalgamating tape instead, and build up the thickness on the spigot, until it's a snug fit in the hose, and then clip it - not too tightly. That should be neat - no visible tape. If it fails, then amalgamate-tape the outside too!Amalgamating tape is great stuff - rubbery, but you need to stretch it as you wrap it around, and it then melds together.0
