Bank Account switching offers - cut-off dates

My archiving and record keeping abilities leave a lot to be desired + I am a latecomer to this game. Could anyone share more info on whether the banks operate a fixed range (e.g. 3Y: October 2024 offer's cut-off date is October 2021, July 2023 offer's cut-off date was July 2020 etc) or rather stick with a fixed cut-off date (e.g. October 2020 is the repeated cut-off date for every subsequent switch offer (could be 'recent' - i.e. after a specific offer date)?

There's no point in trying to generalise - the criteria for such offers will vary not just between banks but also between offers from any given bank.4

There is a post on here with a load of the offers and they dates they ran. You should note down when you switched as that will be useful for future offers e.g. if they do it for say last 3 years is excluded
Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
