    Unless I’ve missed it, you haven’t said what your CS pension will be or what your income needs in retirement will be. 
    You don’t have to give that info here but without it you have no idea of what you need to achieve with your £250k
    You need to work out:
    Annual CS pension after tax
    Annual income needed - lots of info online re min/comfortable/luxury level 
    Factor in State Retirement pension in x years
    Then you can work out how much you need to withdraw from your investments.
