Hello all from a cold and wet SE Wales. Hopefully it will dry up so that later we can go down to the c'van to drain down the water system and bring back the seat cushions. I do have some ironing to do this afternoon but as it's not my favourite pastime it's a coin toss as to whether it gets done. I finally finished my book yesterday and sadly the ending wasn't worth waiting for. Tea tonight will be sweet and sour chicken with rice, I'll make the sauce later.
Crisca hope you can reunite as a family over the new baby, fingers crossed.
Gers safe journey home.
Scarlet have a great time away.
RedRuby I read that you bought Rob a cat flap, I had visions of him with his head stuck. Note to self "read things properly !"
Camelot enjoy the birthday meal and the wander around JL.
Rosy can I borrow your DS for some painting here afterwards ? I'm not sure I can do it anymore and it's something I quite enjoyed.
Sorry I have forgotten who else has posted so I hope you all have a good day.
Take care all, stay well.
nan xx

Hi everyone,
I've been laid up with a virus over the weekend and still feeling a bit peely wally.
We have no water today while the tank is changed and no heating untill Wednesday night. Hopefully it will be warm enough, we had the heating on over the weekend because I was cold.
Nanny I was so pleased to hear your good news, grr to the previous Dr though, you could have done without the extra worry.
Congratulations Chrisca.
Have a good day.10 -
Morning All
Sorry didn't post yesterday. DH felt unwell all day and had no appetite (very unusual for him) but not sure if it was a reaction to our jabs on Saturday or he has a bug.
He is feeling a little better today but not going to bowls tonight.
Nan glad the news was better for Mr Fixit
DP1 hope little one is better this week
Scarlett hope you have a good journey and good time away
Gers safe journey home
Snoozer hope the job is completed quickly and you start to feel better soon
RR hope Rob enjoys his birthday gift
Chris congratulations on a new baby news
TA glad you had a lovely breakfast and good time with the family
DH is hoping to do an "Octoberfest" evening on Saturday for some of our friends but if he is no better by Wednesday I will postpone. I have been looking up some German snacks online that are quick to make, also will be making usual sausage rolls chicken etc.
Just seen weather forecast for the week and we may hit the balmy temperature of 20 later this week, sounds lovely.
Have a good day all keep safe and warm, hugs to all who want them

Morning everyone woke up to a hard frost but it’s nice and bright blue skies I met my friend for a coffee and a catch up I will be doing some housework but otherwise not a lot planned. Chrisca congratulations on the new baby I hope it brings the family together I count myself lucky I have no problems with mine except one daughter in law they have 3 children which very rarely we are allowed to see she used to live four doors away from us and kept the curtains closed so if we passed we couldn’t look in and see the children the only consultation we have is it’s not just us she’s like this with everyone I could tell you tales that would make your hair curl she’s very odd to say the least I ve found over the years she’s best left to her own devices. DP1 what a shame about the little one hopefully it’s just a blip . Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing8
