Nice -Geneva- Manchester

    I recently posted a topic very similar to this one that was to do with whether I had time to make a connection ,     This one is similar but my main issue is different.
Ive flew twice before into Geneva airport from a Schengen location to connect to an onward flight to the uk with hand luggage.   Both times I’ve just walked through a door saying transfers or something like that ,      It’s took me through to the terminal for my onward flight ,  no baggage/ security check ,     Just show my passport before the walk to my gate .        Is that allowed  ?   I tried it in schipol last week for a onward uk flight but had to leave and re enter 
im flying from nice to Geneva in a few weeks time to connect to Manchester and don’t want to try it again and get stopped

Post brexit ,  first time flying In to Geneva  from lisbon in March ,   Second time flying in to Geneva  from Naples in May ,      Connecting with hand luggage to the uk  Both times after departing the aircraft we saw the directions for transfers Went through a door and found ourselves in departures ,        All we then had to do was go through a passport control then on to our gate .
Two weeks ago I flew into schipol from Copenhagen ,  couldn’t find anyway of transferring so had to depart and re enter and go through the usual custom / baggage checks .

Personally I have never had a problem with Geneva airport and have always made my connections with plenty of time to spare.
