Facebook Marketplace phising scam?

ThisIsWeird

I'm guessing that this is a scam, and have no intention of responding. It was in ref to a listing I have had running for months; the most innocuous thing - a bunch of free Build It! magazines.
Is this how these scammers get hold of Marketplace accounts and use it for their dodgy, scammy listings?
Do I report it, or just delete? Thanks.

Maybe the scammers just post dodgy links on public sites like the MSE Forum?3

I've just received one of these messages as well, googled to check and this thread came up. If you find out I'd be interested to know. I do know that my listing doesn't break any rules, so I'm guessing it's a scam.2

The exact message my wife received today from Konan Konal M'bra. Looking him up and he comes up as "Support" but his profile is empty other than a picture of some rusty metal.Presumably the link would ask for details that result in the account being compromised. Message deleted.1
