PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING: Hello Forumites! In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. Threads that are found to have derailed into wider discussions may be removed. Users who repeatedly disregard this may have their Forum account banned. Please also avoid posting personally identifiable information, including links to your own online property listing which may reveal your address. Thank you for your understanding.

Unless you can fund this independently there is zero point in making further offers until you have accepted an offer on yours. You could offer full asking but it would not be accepted outright because you are not proceedable at the moment.

Making an offer when you haven't sold your house (Sold subject to contract) is pretty much pointless. When we sold our house earlier this year, we got an offer of asking price in the first week. The guy who made that offer hadn't even marketed his house. We said thanks, but basically ignored it. Never heard from him again. Sellers (and their EA) won't have anything to do with offers that aren't proceedable as it would be crazy to do so. Get your house on the market, get it SSTC, then offer on this house. Viewing properties and making offers when you haven't marketed or sold your own property is not a good idea.1
