Missing Income Payments from Income Funds.

Hi,
I've really struggled to find an answer to this, so hopefully someone here might know.
I have an AJ Bell S&S ISA, and the money is invested in various income generating funds. Some are monthly dividends, others quarterly. I invested back in June.
All but 2 of my funds have paid out some income thus far. The ones that haven't are JPM Morgan Emerging Markets, and Blackrock Continental Europe. Both are quarterly, but it looks like the last dividend dates have come and gone.
Do certain funds require you to be invested in them for a set amount of time before they pay out? I can't seem to find an answer to my query. I'm going to contact AJ Bell, but just thought I'd ask here first incase anyone knowledgeable can put my mind at ease.
Many Thanks.

Why dont you do some reading about ex-divident date and payment date.
One should learn about investment before diving in to it.

For the JPMorgan Emerging Markets fund, are you talking about the one with the ticker JMG?If so, this page on the Hargreaves Landsdown website, suggests this fund (investment trust) only pays out twice yearly:The 1st payment was before June and the 2nd payment went ex-dividend on 10/10 and will pay out next month. As for the Blackrock Continental Europe, is this the fund shown in the link:This page says the fund pays yearly. For this open ended fund, can you confirm you have bought the income units as opposed to the accumulation units?I have no idea of the information on the AJ Bell site, but I use Hargreaves Landsdown (HL) or Charles Stanley direct (CSD) to get things like fund names, the codes/tickers, dividend yield etc.For stocks and investment trusts, HL has a tab with dividends. Then within that page, the tab on your rights shows when the dividends were paid.I use this to find the dividend dates and payments for any stocks I own.So for example, if I wanted to find the dividends for Astra Zeneca, I would type into google:HL AZNAnd this will take me to the relevant AZN page. And I found the JPM fund above by typing into Google:HL JP Morgan emerging marketsHope that helps.Edited to change the ex-dividend date of the JP Morgan fund.3

Thank you for your helpful reply.
For clarity it is these two funds -
https://www.fidelity.co.uk/factsheet-data/factsheet/GB00B5N1BC33-jpm-emerging-markets-income-c---net-inc/key-statistics
https://www.fidelity.co.uk/factsheet-data/factsheet/GB00B3Y7MQ71-blackrock-continental-european-inc-d-inc/dividends
As you suggest I was able to see the dividend information on the fund details page (linked directly to it with the 2nd one there), which is why I expected a payment by now.

From your post, I used GB00B3Y7MQ71 to type into Google:HL GB00B3Y7MQ71This page was returned:I see that the income is paid quarterly. The most recent ex-dividend date was 01/09 and that dividend will be paid 31/10. This is shown on a box on your right of the screen. As this fund pays quarterly, the previous ex-dividend date would have been 01/06. So whilst you said you bought in June, I suspect for you get to get the dividend from June, you should have bought by 31/05. Not sure about dividends paid to units bought on the ex-dividend date. Not sure about your JP Morgan fund. I did the above trick with the JP Morgan fund and google returned an investment trust with the ticker JEMI. Whereas the fund factsheet clearly states it is an open ended fund.So looking around the fund factsheet, I see there is a tab for Dvidends. This states the most recent ex-dividend date was 01/08 and the next payment date is 31/10.The prior ex-dividend date was 02/05 which was before you owned the fund.Btw: the factsheet for the blackrock fund confirms the most recent ex-dividend date was 02/09 and the payment date will be 31/10.The previous ex-dividend date was 03/06 and I don't know if you have bought your units by then.
