I don't buy a lot from "Selly Telly" but I sometimes watch for tips and inspiration. I particularly like the sewing tips on House of Alistair but what has happened to Create and Craft TV? No live TV just repeats and not accepting orders. Anyone know what is going on?

It looks like they may be about to go into administration, they are not currently taking orders, and are just showing repeats at the moment. Some information here.

Thanks Debbie9009, I suppose just a sign of the times. People with less disposable income choosing carefully where to spend it and if they are not selling their crafts no way of recouping their costs. I daresay people selling their crafts are maybe feeling the pinch as well.

I ordered quite a few items from C&C at the end of September. Since then I have tried to contact their customer services team only to find a recorded message saying that they cannot answer any calls at this time. I then got in touch with the suppliers who have informed me that they haven't been paid and that they won't provide the stock until they have. I have now opened a retail dispute case with my bank and hope to get my money back. I recommend anyone who has bought from C&C and not received their goods to do this. If you have paid via PayPal, you can open a dispute case with them also. The C&C website is offline at this moment in time and the channel is showing old shows.0

Word has it there is an insolvency practitioner trying to raise investment for the business. If they achieve this, they will be able to continue.
They have now been showing repeats for two weeks so make of that what you will.

Hello everyone.
I've been on gov UK website and have seen on there that they are 'dissolved'. But that doesn't mean they can't come back. I suppose it depends on what they can do to save it.
It would be good if they would update their viewers/ customers as some of the companies are now on the sister site hobbymaker.

Morning!
Well it's happened they have closed Create and Craft. I did follow them on Facebook and they made the announcement on there. I've also followed some of the presenters on Facebook and Dan Bancroft left a message for his followers as well. Wishing them the best for their future's.0 -
Sorry forgot to say for those that don't know some companies and presenters are now on Hobby Craft.0

Is Hobbymaker owned by the same company or a totally separate firm? I noticed that quite a few former Hochanda/ Create and Craft presenters have " migrated", some quite a while ago and some recently when C&C seemed to be in trouble. There are also former presenters on Sewing Street which is the same company as Hobbymaker. I tend to watch most of these programmes on "catch up" rather than live,so, not always up to date with what is going on.I hope too many people haven't been caught out paying for orders which haven't been delivered and suppliers who haven't been paid for stock.0
