I used a loss assessor for a fire damage claim. We agreed a percentage fee. Are they right to take the fee from the vat I paid to the builder?

This should be outlined in the terms and conditions you signed.
I expect they will ask for a % of the claim settlement (the amount the insurer pays you) which will include VAT if the builder is VAT registered.0 -
Need to check your agreement but in most cases its simply the full value paid rather than networkworkandwork said:I used a loss assessor for a fire damage claim. We agreed a percentage fee. Are they right to take the fee from the vat I paid to the builder?0
