With a bit of luck, you can win a 7-night hotel stay at one of three TUI BLUE hotels: our TUI BLUE Schladming in Austria, TUI BLUE Sarigerme Park in Türkiye, or TUI BLUE Makarska in Croatia. You get to decide where the journey will take you — it's entirely up to your personal holiday preferences. The picture on my screen was a beach with numbered seating but it may be a different photo for each attempt - my correct answer was 'Germany', more by luck than judgement.

Terms and conditions for the TUI BLUE Pixel Picture Puzzle

1. The competition is organised by TUI Hotel Betriebsgesellschaft mbH, Karl-Wiechert-Allee 23, 30625 Hannover, Germany, hereinafter referred to as TUI BLUE. The eligibility requirements, the actions to be taken, the prize and the method of drawing the winner are set out in the competition description and, in addition, in these Conditions of Participation. 

2. Participants must be at least 18 years of age, resident in the European Union or the United Kingdom (including the Channel Islands), speak German or English, and have an internet connection and a valid email address. Employees of TUI AG and TUI Hotel Betriebsgesellschaft mbH and their relatives are excluded from participating in this competition. The same shall apply to travel agencies with TUI representation. 

3. To enter, participants must correctly answer the competition questions (Pixel Picture Puzzle) on the competition website and register with a valid email address, providing all required mandatory information (contact details) on the registration page.

4. Participation shall be independent of the booking of a trip or the purchase of other TUI BLUE services and shall be free of charge. Participation shall be exclusively via the competition website provided by TUI BLUE.

5. The duration of the competition is from midnight on 01 October 2024 to 11:59 pm on 31 October 2024. During this period it is possible to participate in the competition via the TUI BLUE competition website. A total of eleven winners will then be drawn. The first winner drawn will receive a hotel voucher (main prize, see number 7) and the ten runner-ups drawn will each receive a merchandise package (see number 8). 

6. At the end of the competition period, the winners will be drawn at random from all registered participants who have answered the competition questions in full. 

7. The prize is a hotel voucher for either the TUI BLUE Schladming, TUI BLUE Sarigerme Park or TUI BLUE Makarska hotel. The winner of the main prize has the opportunity to redeem their hotel voucher for one of the three hotels with the following conditions. After selection and written confirmation of the desired hotel by the winner, the hotel can no longer be changed. The hotel selection is binding and cannot be changed at a later date due to lack of availability:

7.1 The hotel voucher for the TUI BLUE Schladming consists of a 7-night stay at the TUI BLUE Schladming including half board for 2 people (winner+1) in a double room Duo. The half-board package includes breakfast and dinner from the buffet (excluding drinks). The costs for all drinks and any meals over and above the half-board package – as well as all optional additional services on site – are to be borne by the winner. Use of the SkySauna and the Schladming Dachstein Summercard are included in the hotel voucher. Travel costs and any tourist taxes are not included in the prize and must be paid for by the winner. The voucher must be redeemed on request and by no later than 1 August 2025 for stays between 1 May 2025 and 31 October 2025. To redeem the hotel voucher, the winner must contact TUI BLUE directly.

7.2 The hotel voucher for the TUI BLUE Sarigerme Park consists of a 7-night stay at the TUI BLUE Sarigerme Park incl. all-inclusive for 2 people (winner+1) in a standard double room in the main building. The all-inclusive package includes breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as a selection of different snacks at certain times (main meals) from the buffet as well as the drinks offered at the hotel with main meals (including soft drinks, beer, table wine, selected cocktails, coffee and tea). The winner is responsible for the cost of any food or drink not included in the all-inclusive package and any optional additional services provided on site. Travel costs and any tourist taxes are not included in the prize and must be paid for by the winner. The voucher must be redeemed on request and by no later than 1 August 2025 for stays between 26 April 2025 and 1 November 2025. To redeem the hotel voucher, the winner must contact TUI BLUE directly.

7.3 The hotel voucher for the TUI BLUE Makarska consists of a 7-night stay at the TUI BLUE Makarska including half board for 2 people (winner + 1) in a standard double room. The half-board package includes breakfast and dinner from the buffet (excluding drinks). The costs for all drinks and any meals over and above the half-board package – as well as all optional additional services on site – are to be borne by the winner. Travel costs and any tourist taxes are not included in the prize and must be paid for by the winner. The voucher must be redeemed on request and by no later than 1 August 2025 for stays between 18 April 2025 and 12 October 2025. To redeem the hotel voucher, the winner must contact TUI BLUE directly.

8. TUI BLUE merchandise packages will be raffled off: A total of 10 x merchandise packages, each containing the following four merchandise items: 1x TUI BLUE Sneaker socks blue, 1x TUI BLUE key ring, 1x TUI BLUE thermo mug white, 1x TUI BLUE Hamam towel.

9. Participants in the competition are obliged to provide correct and complete information. If the contact details provided are incorrect (e.g. the email address), TUI BLUE is not obliged to investigate this further and any disadvantages resulting from this shall be to the detriment of the participant. 

10. The winners shall be notified by TUI BLUE by email to the email address provided during registration. The winner must confirm the prize in writing by email to TUI BLUE within 14 days of notification of the prize (reconfirmation). If the participant fails to send such confirmation to TUI BLUE by the deadline using the contact details provided in the notification of winning, their prize will be considered forfeited and TUI BLUE shall be authorised to draw a new winner and to pass on the prize. 

11. Cash payment of the winnings, even in part, or an exchange is not possible. Claims to winnings cannot be transferred to other persons.

12. The following applies to prize vouchers: The redemption conditions stated on the voucher apply. TUI BLUE is not liable for the loss of the voucher and will not provide compensation. Vouchers issued by name and hotel vouchers are not transferable to other persons and can only be redeemed by the winner. 

13. Each prize shall contain only the items described in the prize description under section 7 and 8 of these terms and conditions. TUI BLUE does not guarantee that the prize can actually be claimed by the winner. 

14. The competition may only be used for private purposes. Neither the competition nor the associated transmitted or produced content nor the websites and their content, in whole or in part, may be used commercially or in the course of business dealings by participants or third parties. Participants and third parties may not offer the competition, the content conveyed or produced for this reason, access to the websites or to their content to third parties either in return for payment or within the framework of sponsored services, nor may they distribute content from the websites themselves or keep it on record for distribution or other commercial use. 

15. Please note that the availability and features of the competition cannot be guaranteed. The competition may be terminated or removed due to external circumstances and constraints without this giving rise to any claims by participants against TUI BLUE. In particular, TUI BLUE reserves the right to discontinue the competition in whole or in part (even without prior notice) or to restrict access to it, in whole or in part, without this giving rise to any claims by participants against TUI BLUE. This shall apply, in particular, in the event of the occurrence of computer viruses, faults in the software and/or hardware and/or for other technical reasons which entail more than insignificant impairment. This shall also apply in the event that the execution is more than insignificantly impaired or excluded for legal reasons, as well as in the event of manipulation or attempted manipulation that affects the administration, security, integrity and/or regular and orderly execution of the competition. If such termination was caused by the conduct of a participant, TUI BLUE may demand compensation from this person for the damage incurred. 

16. Claims for damages against TUI BLUE in connection with this competition shall be excluded, irrespective of the legal grounds, unless TUI BLUE, its legal representatives or vicarious agents have acted with intent or gross negligence. TUI BLUE shall only be liable for slight negligence if a contractual obligation essential for achieving the purpose of the contract has been breached by TUI BLUE, its legal representatives or executives or vicarious agents. This limitation of liability shall not apply in the case of claims for damages resulting from injury to life, limb or health or the assumption of a guarantee of quality or fraudulent concealment of defects on the part of TUI BLUE. Insofar as TUI BLUE is liable for slight negligence, the claim for damages shall be limited to the foreseeable damages typical for the contract. 

17. These Conditions of Participation may be amended by TUI BLUE at any time without separate notification, taking into account the respective interests, and within reason. Should individual provisions of the Conditions of Participation be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining Conditions of Participation shall remain unaffected. 

18. Legal recourse is excluded with regard to both the drawing of winners and any judgement of the submitted competition entries. Should a legal dispute nevertheless arise, the participant agrees that any court costs and lawyers' fees incurred in the statutory amount - or in a reasonable amount if no statutory amount is prescribed - which serve a necessary legal defence shall be borne by the party which has been unsuccessful in the court proceedings which have been finally and conclusively concluded. The prevailing party shall be entitled to reimbursement in this respect. 

19. It shall be possible to withdraw from the competition at any time during the period of the competition. A corresponding notification can be sent informally to the marketing department of TUI BLUE, for the attention of Hanna Mosig, hanna.mosig@tui.com and will subsequently lead to exclusion from participation in the competition. Any complaints can also be directed to the TUI BLUE marketing department and TUI BLUE will endeavour to resolve the dispute.
