I got a free cup of tea today by the Italian owner of the shop I always get my lunch from - his reason - to cheer us both after Italy and England being knocked out of Euro 2004.

I'm a newbie so apologies if I have posted in the wrong section.

We recently had some problems with our SKY box (no t.v. for 3 days). Though the problem was eventually sorted out I thought It was unfair that I should have to pay for those three days of lost viewing.

So I emailed them a letter yesterday, expecting either no reply, a late reply or a whole load of beauracratic nonsense when one eventually came.

To my surprise I found an email this morning from the customer service department to say that my account had been credited with relevant amount and they were very sorry for any inconvenience.

I was very impressed by the prompt reply. Also sent an email to dlr asking for a goody bag for my son. Initially got an automated standard reply, then later on the man himself david sanders sent another email personally to reassure me that the bags would be sent.

What a nice start to my day
